Greetings and welcome to the website containing our Compliance Certification Report and supporting documents. As you will find in the report, the members of our campus community have given much time, energy, and devotion to the production of the report. The purpose for this two- year project was to use the examination of the Principles of Accreditation as a means to appraise all aspects of our institution for possible areas of improvement and to ensure that we are in complete compliance with both the SACS-COC philosophy and requirements.

For approximately ten years, the campus community has been engaged in a serious dialogue and study of all aspects of our liberal arts mission and institution. As a result, a new mission (the Rhodes Vision), new goals (the four Strategic Imperatives), and a new curriculum (the Foundations Curriculum) have emerged. The campus has been energized by the addition of the wonderful new Barret Library which combines both the print and electronic access resources necessary to support teaching and learning in today’s society. In addition, the campus is engaged in a project to re-engineer the way we work with and serve our students. We expect that the results of our current capital campaign will help support all of these initiatives.

We look forward to the benefits gained from the SACS-COC Reaffirmation process.
